3 1/2 stars. This is a book that I thought about reading for a long time. I'll start by saying that the main character in this book reminded me so much of myself as a teen. She liked classic movies and big band music just as I did at that age. Not that I didn't like the stuff that was popular in the 80s as well, but I was a vintage girl in the gaudy 80s.I really liked this book. There is a point in the book where everything suddenly changes and you realize that you weren't getting the whole story in the beginning. It's a bit jarring at first, but I still enjoyed the book.
