I loved this one as much as I did the first one. There is an innocence to Kelley's and Sonny's love that I enjoyed reading. There are no lustful passages in the book, just a nice pure romance that I find refreshing among the YA fiction of today. I don't know why, but when they met in the first book I thought of Thumbelina and Prince Cornelius in the animated movie Thumbelina. Probably no one else would picture them that way, but I think the way they seemed so fascinated by each other when they met is what reminded me of those two characters.
