I liked The Zhore Deception better than the last book I read in the series which would have been The Mandala Maneuver. I have not read The Titan Trap yet. I am drawn more to the books that feature the Zhore than the others. I liked that we got to revisit characters from a couple of previous books in the series. This is the last Gaian Consortium book, at least for a while, as the author has said the series is going on hiatus while she focuses on writing a new space opera series, which I am looking forward to learning more about.
