Whispers in Autumn
3 1/2 stars. I would probably have given Whispers in Autumn 4 stars if there hadn't been some holes, like how did Lucas get a fish if he never left the compound and why don't the birds fly over the fence? An electric fence isn't going to keep everything out. There would also be things that could slither in through it like snakes. Other than that I like the book a lot. I think the writing is good and the story is compelling although a bit slow at first.
